Tips For Breaking-in Your Dayton Boots

Dayton Heritage Classics are lovingly designed and handmade by skilled Dayton
craftsmen and women the same way they have been for over 60 years in the Dayton
Boot Factory in East Vancouver, British Columbia.

Daytons were originally built to serve the demanding footwear needs of rugged loggers, miners and workers who labored in the often harsh and unforgiving climate of British Columbia’s rainforests, mines and fields.

Dayton Heritage Classic Boots are built to the same specifications as they were 60 years ago. As a result, for three generations, Dayton selects only the finest, most durable premium leathers. The leathers used in Dayton are frequently 3 times thicker than most athletic footwear and 2 times thicker than most premium leather boots made by other manufacturers that offer little or no “break in” period.

The simple tradeoff is your Dayton Heritage Classic Boots will require an investment of a little more time and patience than you may be accustomed to in order to enjoy the many benefits of your Daytons.
